QC U12 Premier Boys Green Team enjoyed a challenging weekend at QC’s Breakaway Tournament, Nov 4 – 6, 2011. After coming out on top of their pool, in the final the boys faced RE Rush – the team that had defeated them in round-robin play the day before. When the second half began, the boys fought back from a 0-1 goal deficit and tied the game. They continued to work together as a team to pull off an exciting shoot-out victory.
They were very proud of the outcome, and gave loud cheers to each player as they each received their 1st place medals. Thanks very much to Coach Eric Blair and Assistant Coach Aleks Wosik for their ongoing work with QC Soccer’s kids.
